Policies
Due to an increase in "No Shows" and late cancellations, please note our new policies

Payment and Reservation Cancellation Policies
(Effective March 17, 2008)

I am excited to meet you and your pet and pleased that you have selected my services.
I am more than happy to accommodate your reservation request and work with you
whenever possible. Please remember that I am holding your reservation request
pending your pet's arrival and keep in mind that my facilities are limited and are
often fully booked.

When I reach my total occupancy capacity, I must refuse reservation requests
and turn business away.  If you do not cancel your reservations in a timely
manner (see 'Client Cancellation' below), I am unable, in most instances,
to re-book the space I have held for you.  This results in lost revenue, and I,
unfortunately, must then charge the client for his or her reserved space.

Payment:
Your payment in full is due upon booking in order to hold your reservation.
Cash or personal checks are accepted.

Client Cancellation:
More than 21 days in advance of your pet's arrival:
A full refund will be given.
21 days or less in advance of your pet's arrival: No refund will be given.
You will have the option of applying your payment to a future stay (subject to availability.)

Provider Cancellation:
In the event that I must cancel your stay due to an emergency or urgent business travel
needs, you will receive a full refund and I will refer you to another reputable pet
sitter which whom I work in the area.

Pick up/Drop Offs
* Pick ups/drop offs on all holidays are subject to availability.
* All pick ups/drop offs must take place between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
* Please call 763.442.8240 at least 15 minutes prior to your pick up/drop
off to reconfirm your arrival so that I can be ready for you.

Pet Emergency
In the event that your pet becomes ill in your absence, I will contact you by
phone if possible. I will then contact your emergency contact who will be
responsible for obtaining any required medication and/or transporting your
pet to your veterinary clinic if necessary. Please make certain that your
emergency contact is available during your absence and be sure to leave
a credit card number on file with your vet along with the name(s) of people
whom you approve to make decisions about your pet's medical needs in your absence.

Miscellaneous Notes On Your Pet's Stay:
* Please send no more than three toys with your pet. I have a number of
pet-safe toys I would love to share!
* All items sent with your pet (dog coats, blankets, kennel pads, etc.)
should be machine washable/dryable.  There's Someplace Like Home
is not responsible for items that shrink or are otherwise damaged during
normal washing/drying.
* Please send extra food and treats with your pet in the event that your
return is delayed.
